We’re dreaming of developing an outdoor/indoor venue on the Blue Star Corridor where people can come to enjoy food, games, and beverages with/without alcohol. Individuals, families, and groups will find this a comfortable space for them to rest, refuel, and rejoice. 

My name is Dave Rodriguez, my family has been in Saugatuck for 55 years and my business partner, Vince, has 100 years of family history here. After graduating from Saugatuck HS I moved away for college and then moved to Spain for a period of 10 years. While in Spain I developed and opened two breweries, which are still open today.  In the process, I gained hands on knowledge of the brewing world and a tremendous amount of experience and understanding of what it takes to build successful hospitality projects. Meanwhile, Vince helped build two successful restaurants in Chicago that continue to prosper.

Throughout the years we have been contemplating different concepts for a project here in our hometown. We combined our international experience with our love for Saugatuck and came up with a unique idea that would serve both the community needs and our creative needs. I shared this idea to others in the community and received very positive feedback. So here we are now, people are growing increasingly more enthusiastic about this project. So let’s do it!

I want to make one thing clear – We are here to create a landmark destination and family friendly spot that is great both for people coming off the highway and for locals to have a place to meet away from crowded downtown during the peak season.   Our intention is to create a long-term destination that will enhance the Blue Star corridor and support the mission of our Saugatuck Township 5 year plan, which calls on developing businesses that would create  2nd and 3rd stops along the Blue Star Corridor. This project is aligned with that vision.  

We are making space for kids and families to play games, eat delicious food and have a few beers and sodas. Our intention is to benefit Saugatuck with new and innovative food offerings. Our intention is to celebrate the natural beauty of this area. Our intention is to continue aiding in elevating the quality of offerings in Saugatuck as it grows along its current path as a beloved location to live and raise kids in addition to being a fun resort community. We believe in Saugatuck, and we want to make a meaningful investment in its future.
